Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade - December 2012 Videos

The Newport Beach Boat Parade started last night and was a big success.  There were hundreds of boats in the Newport Harbor as the annual event started with colorful boats and fireworks.  Newport Beach is truly a nautical town with hundreds of waterfront homes with many small islands that have incredible water views. Here is a sample of some of the boats that were on tour last night. The videos were taken at the corner of Harbor Island and Beacon Bay which allowed views of boats going in both directions passing Collins Island and wrapping around the bay.

The first video was a colorful boat that featured dancing palm tree lights, surfboards and a Woody car to complete the ultimate beach theme. This was definitely one of the most colorful boats in the parade.

The second boat featured here was one of the most classic Christmas theme boats in the parade.  The boat featured a patroic theme with the statue of liberty, libert bell and colorful Christmas trees.

The last boat featured here was the most energetic and bright boat in the parade.  Featuring loud dance music and a hip hop Santa.  I'm sure they used a lot of electricity to light this boat.

After seeing these boats you have the desire to buy a waterfront home.  Waterfront condos in Newport Beach start just above the $1,000,000 mark and houses start at $2,500,000.  Below is a sample of current waterfront homes for sale.  The Christmas Boat Parade continues through this Saturday starting at 6:30pm at Bay Island and the counting around Corona Del Mar, Balboa Island and around the Balboa Peninsula.
