Newport Beach is a very affluent area with a wide variety of luxury gated and water front communities. When it comes to senior communities that cater to those older than 55 years of age there is only one place to look, a neighborhood called The Terraces. This neighborhood is located in Corona Del Mar, a small subdivision in the city of Newport Beach that is specifically for senior residents. Driving by the Terraces you would never know that it's a special community. It blends in well with the surrounding homes and has a Cape Cod style architecture. The homes themselves were built about 30 years ago and offer two story floorpans with attached garages. Many worry about climbing stairs but many floor plans offer a main floor master bedroom, living room and kitchen area. Additional bedrooms are located upstairs and ideal for guest and family members that come to visit.
The location is really ideal as it's adjacent to the Oasis Senior Center and within walking distance to the many restaurants, cafe's and boutique business's.
