Newport Crest is a popular condo building in the northern section of Newport Beach and is well known for it's panoramic ocean and Catalina Island views that can be seen from this location as pictured below. Newport Crest was built in the 1970's and at the time was the premier ocean view condo building. One of the biggest draws besides the great views is the close proximity to Hoag hospital that employee's many who live in the surrounding Newport Beach area. One of the newest additions to this area is the new Sunset Ridge park area that can be seen below. This is a huge open space for children and adults to enjoy the great outdoors which also overlooks the ocean.
The Newport Crest complex has a resort style pool, spa and tennis courts with a small community clubhouse as well. Rentals in this area often range between $2,600 to $3,850 a month with ocean view units renting in the mid $3,000 a month. Many love this are with it's close proximity to the beach, attached garages and multi-level floor plans that offer large picture windows with lots of natural lights. These are typically not vacation rentals and will often be rented in a one to two year lease period.
