The Newport Beach Real Estate market saw a number of record sales in 2012 with 10 banner sales over the $10 million dollar price point.  Newport Beach is widely known as the most expensive real estate market in the country and the luxury real estate market is very much alive and increasing.  The most expensive home sold was the luxury estate called "One Pelican Hill Road."  The home is located in the Pelican Hill area of Newport Beach and situated on one of the largest lots in the area.  The property was sold in it's current state where construction was in the final stages.  Upon completion of the home, the property would featured a 17 car garage, lush landscaping, multiple terraces, a private lake, tennis court, vineyards, wine cave, horse stable and

There is no better place to live in Newport Beach than on the water.  The Newport Bay fronts some of the most expensive real estate in Newport Beach and the gated community of Linda Isle is no exception.  Located just west of Coast Hwy lies a quiet and peaceful gated community where every single home has wonderful bay front views.  For those who own a boat this community is ideal with large boat docks that can typically accommodate large boats and yachts.

The Newport Beach Boat Parade started last night and was a big success.  There were hundreds of boats in the Newport Harbor as the annual event started with colorful boats and fireworks.  Newport Beach is truly a nautical town with hundreds of waterfront homes with many small islands that have incredible water views. Here is a sample of some of the boats that were on tour last night. The videos were taken at the corner of Harbor Island and Beacon Bay which allowed views of boats going in both directions passing Collins Island and wrapping around the bay.

The first video was a colorful boat that featured dancing palm tree lights, surfboards and a Woody car to complete the ultimate beach theme. This was definitely one of the most colorful boats in the

Finding a single family home in Newport Beach under $700,000 is a challenge within itself since most single family homes start at around $600,000. Known as one of the most expensive beach towns in Southern California, Newport Beach single family homes typically start at around $600,000 so finding a newer construction home for under $700,000 is a real value in our eyes.  The Newport Palisades is a new community in Newport Beach where new construction homes are still being built.  The community is located near the 73 & 55 freeways in the West Bay area of Newport Beach near Costa Mesa.

The community boasts top of the line finishes with homes built in the Mediterranean style with modern finishes on the inside.  Some of the best features include 9 foot

Big Canyon is one of my favorite areas in Newport Beach.  It's almost like going back in time with large mature landscaping that surround luxury homes and condos in the heart of the city and across from the Fashion Island shopping center.  The center of it all is the Big Canyon Country Club that is world known as a premier golf course in California.  The luxury homes that surround the golf course are well into the multi-million dollar range so for those looking for a lease expensive alternative then Big Canyon condos are your best bet.

Condos in the Big Canyon area consist of Big Canyon McClain and the Big Canyon Villas.   Big Canyon McClain condos currently range from the mid $500,000 to the mid $600,000 range.  The condos are town home style condos

Bonita Canyon is one of my favorite areas in Newport Beach.  The architecture in this gated community offers a unique flare that you won't see in other communities in Newport Beach.  Architectural styles like French, French Country, English and Traditional style homes all co-mingle well together in Bonita Canyon.  So where exactly is Bonita Canyon?  The community is centrally located near the 73 freeway and Bonita Canyon Drive just south of MacArthur Blvd.  MacArthur Blvd is the street that takes you down to the ocean passing Fashion Island on the way to Balboa Island.  If you are also familiar with the Mormon Church and Temple than you have probably passed by Bonita Canyon which resides next door.

Many Newport Beach Real Estate agents cover only a

2012 has been a busy year for Newport Beach Real Estate as many home and condos buyers are back in the market and prices are starting to inch their way up.  In a typical slow fall and winter season we are seeing a huge activity of buyers actively looking to buy.  One of the main reasons their such a huge demand and a low supply is that many home buyers believe that we have already passed the bottom of the market and they are doing whatever it takes to buy while prices are still low.

One of the main problems is the lack of inventory.  If you are looking for a condo then you will be surprised to learn that you can still find a quality condo in the Newport Beach area for under $600,000.  One of the communities we like is the Brookview II condos in the
